Training for companies

LEGLAB Avvocati is able to design and organise seminars, workshops and training courses (also in the form of webinars) for companies and professionals who need to learn and deepen their knowledge of new regulations and understand the legal implications related to their business.

Vanni Ribechi recently completed a four-lesson course built for the specific needs of a major international company that manufactures machinery, process equipment and production lines for the world’s largest industrial groups in multiple sectors: aerospace, aluminium, automotive, cement and minerals, chemicals and petrochemicals, energy, general machining, glass, logistics, oil and gas, steel, and sugar.

The topics explored were:

1) the employment contract and its customisation with analysis of the most important clauses – demotion and ius variandi – posting transfers

2) Dismissal notion, communication, justification – disciplinary dismissal and special cases of dismissal;

3) Dismissal protections – PNC – Practical cases and quizzes;

4) taxation of labour: i) taxation of incentives and sums paid for the termination and settlement of employment relationships; ii) taxation of bonuses and the incentive system; iii) taxation of welfare; iv) taxation of AIRE-registered and non-registered workers abroad; v) payroll.

Inauguration 10/12/2024

LEGLAB Avvocati celebrates the start of this new professional adventure by inaugurating its new office at 39 Via Giovanni Boccaccio, Milan, which will open its doors to art by hosting temporary exhibitions of famous or emerging artists.

For the inauguration of the new office, LEGLAB Avvocati chose the photographs of Luca Ortolani Klein, which, thanks to the author’s rebellious and penetrating gaze, become a manifesto of freedom, breaking the shackles of conformism.

Luca captures the beauty of natural landscapes through the contrast of extreme hues or through the rigour of black and white; the portraits are intimate through the use of ‘creative blurring’ as a rejection of mass photographic perfectionism.

Legitimacy of dismissal for extra-occupational conduct 29.11.2024

The Court of Appeal of Trieste confirmed the correctness of a dismissal for extra-work-related conduct that violated the so-called ‘ethical minimum’.

LEGLAB Avvocati represented and defended the company: in the present case, the conduct inherent in the employee’s private life, normally irrelevant for the purposes of damaging the relationship of trust between employee and employer, takes on relevance for this purpose and may constitute just cause for dismissal, where actions and conduct outside the sphere of the contract are such, by their seriousness and nature, as to undermine that trust which is the essential prerequisite for cooperation between employer and employee, in that they are detrimental to the interests of the company or, in any event, manifestly contrary to common ethics.

AGI 2024 Conference

Again this year, lawyer Vanni Ribechi participated in the AGI conference held in Rome on 3,4,5 October 2024.
